Ok so I was at the Memorial Day parade with my family and I passed older gentleman who was wearing a hat that said: 101st Airborne! Me being stupid, didn’t ask him if he served in WWII. I’M SO STUPID! I regret this sooooo much. I wish I could go back like just a half hour! If you guys know anyone who served in the Airborne please let me know!

One of the most memorable days of my life was meeting three members of Easy Company. They were Al Mampre, William “Wild Bill” Guarnere, and Edward “Babe” Heffron. I just wanted to be able to shake their hand and thank them for their service and what it meant to me. They all signed my book, so now when I read it I will always remember the sacrifices they made for the freedom of our country. It’s good that many are getting their stories out before it’s too late, so future generations will know the ultimate sacrifice. God Bless all veterans of U.S wars!
